Tom Kendo’s primary area of practice is real estate law. He advises individuals and businesses in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate law, including real estate investment opportunities, acquisitions and sales, and landlord/tenant matters. He also drafts and records all varieties of real estate conveyances, including deeds, mortgages, and easements. Additionally, Tom represents builders and developers in all aspects of construction disputes, litigation and real estate development.

Further, Tom has significant experience in probate law with a concentration in litigation and has helped individuals and families in estate planning and resolution of disputes in estate issues. He has represented Ohio homeowners in mortgage servicing issues and foreclosure cases.

His practice also focuses in representing banks, credit unions, and medical providers in matters of litigation, resolution of debt, and collections. He has assisted Ohio consumers in cases such as debt collection abuse, warranty claims, home improvement disputes, and credit reporting issues.

Tom is a frequent speaker for the Dayton Area Board of Realtors, the Dayton Bar Association, the Women’s Counsel of Realtors, the Greater Dayton Real Estate Investor’s Association and the National Business Institute. He has also taught real estate law and probate law at the Dayton Area Board of Realtors and Sinclair Community College.
